Nathalie Nicolet
Marketing Coordinator, Membership Programm Coordinator
People have always fascinated me, especially what happens between them, between a person and the world, and within their inner life. I am drawn not only to what is spoken and visible, but especially to what is unspoken, unseen, or only felt beneath the surface. This quiet curiosity has guided me through many paths and travels, eventually leading me to study psychology with the dream of becoming a psychotherapist.
During my bachelor’s thesis, I first encountered psychedelic therapy. Witnessing its potential, the depth of experience, the possibility for profound healing, moved me deeply and sparked a lasting curiosity. This led me to dedicate my master’s thesis and an internship to psychedelic research, allowing me to explore this field both academically and personally. Over time, it became more than just a subject of study; it became a personal passion and a vision for the future of mental health care.
I joined ALPS to stay connected to and contribute to the advancement of psychedelic research, education and therapy beyond academia. Here, I take care of our membership program and am also involved in marketing, with a focus on making ALPS visible so that those who are interested can easily find their way to us and to this important field. What I especially value about the ALPS team is that, beyond our shared interest in the topic, there’s a real joy in working together and a genuine sense of community.
Currently, I am completing my postgraduate training in person-centered psychotherapy with the long-term dream of one day offering psychedelic therapy within a safe, compassionate setting.
